Tax Law

The firm provides assistance and consultancy in tax law in favour of both individuals, companies and entities, with an expertise derived from more than 20 years of professional and academic experience.
The advisory activity also extends to the implications of commercial, administrative, criminal and civil procedure law, and is carried out both in and out of court (in regards of the latter, through drafting of independent legal opinions, etc.).
Prof. Giuseppe Marini advises individuals, undertakings and groups (national and international), companies and public bodies, in all areas of tax law: direct and indirect taxes (in particular, VAT), real estate taxation, local taxation, transfer pricing and international taxation, and tax offences.
Professional assistance is provided both in and out of court.
More specifically, Prof. Giuseppe Marini, Lawyer, assists his clients before all judicial authorities, both at first instance (Provincial Tax Committees, Courts), and on appeal (Regional Tax Committees, Courts of Appeal), as well as before the Supreme Court.
As for out-of-court activities, these take place at the assessment stage (tax inspections by the tax authorities) and at the tax collection stage (instalments, refunds), as well as in the various proceedings to prevent or reduce tax litigation (voluntary payment of delinquent taxes, acceptance of taxation, tax settlements, in court conciliations, tax assessment settlements, internal review procedure) and in requests for private letter rulings to the Tax Authority (concerning interpretation, qualification, evidence, anti-avoidance).
