Since 2007, he has been a lawyer registered with the Rome Bar Association, with rights of audience in the Supreme Court since 1995.
He is an expert in business, contract, commercial, banking and bankruptcy litigation.
He represents and assists clients at every stage and level of civil and administrative litigation, before the Supreme Court and other higher courts, the EU Court of Justice and the ECHR.
Since January 2026, he has been an associate judge at the Vatican City State Tribunal.

Commercial, corporate, contract and procurement law
He has significant experience in business and corporate litigation, specifically in directors’ liability, challenges to corporate resolutions and litigation concerning the transfer of shareholdings or the breach of shareholders’ agreements, in precautionary proceedings and in directors’ misconduct pursuant to Article 2409 of the Italian Civil Code.
He defended numerous Italian and foreign companies in transnational commercial litigation, in precautionary proceedings linked to disputes pending in other countries, and for the enforcement in Italy of judgments and orders issued by foreign courts and foreign arbitration awards.
He also advised foreign clients and law firms, drafting legal opinions and expert reports, with a focus on civil procedure law and private international law and procedure matters within the context of litigation.
He regularly provides assistance in contractual matters, both in and out of court, and his clients include leading domestic and foreign companies, with a specific focus on the following sectors: works, supply and service contracts (public and private), energy, environment and waste, gaming, logistics, commercial and food distribution, air and rail transport, IT services, utilities, furniture, tourism and hoteliers, healthcare, boating, rights in rem, real estate and in antitrust and unfair competition disputes.

Insolvency proceedings and corporate crisis management
He acted as a trustee in bankruptcy and receiver of compositions with creditors and he entered in the register of persons appointed by the judicial authority to perform management and control functions in the procedures referred to in the crisis and insolvency code. He provides assistance in corporate crisis management and insolvency proceedings, from bankruptcy to compositions with creditors (both pre-bankruptcy and after bankruptcy), from debt restructuring agreements to certified reorganisation plans.
In more than thirty years of professional experience, he was engaged several times by bankruptcy receivers to bring various types of legal actions (claw-back actions, directors’ and auditors’ liability, actions for restitution of assets, precautionary seizure proceedings, etc.) or to defend them.
He has extensive experience in advising on companies subject to extraordinary administration procedures or Court-managed administration introduced pursuant to the Anti-Mafia Code, including relations with insolvency procedures governed by the Corporate Crisis Code, and on the effects and implications of anti- mafia disqualification sanctions, both under a civil law and administrative law perspective. It provides assistance both to the Administrations of companies or businesses subject to seizures ordered under the Anti-Mafia Code, and to individuals and businesses in the context of insolvency proceedings governed by the same Code to enforce rights in rem and credit rights against the companies affected by the aforementioned orders.

Banking and finance law
He assists domestic and foreign credit institutions, companies holding receivables and servicers, providing legal assistance both in and out of court, as well as in proceedings before the Banking and Financial Ombudsman (ABF) and the Arbitrator of Financial Disputes (ACF).
He assists entities, directors and auditors of commercial companies and banks in sanction proceedings before the Supervisory Authority (Bank of Italy, Consob) and in related judicial developments.
In 2017, the firm won the Legalcommunity Finance Awards for the year’s most important litigation.

Personality rights, intellectual and industrial property rights
He has extensive experience in actions for damages resulting from defamation by the press and through the media, as well as for the protection of copyright, trademarks and patents, know-how, and distinctive business signs.
He is legal advisor to a number of important Foundations in the field of medical scientific research.

Sports law
He has assisted important sports personalities in protecting their name and image and related rights of use. He has held corporate offices in clubs of the Serie A national football league. He is also a member of the Scientific Evaluation Committee of the Italian National Olympic Committee Sports Law Journal.

Arbitration and Technical Advisory Boards
He has served as an arbitrator and chairman of arbitration tribunals, including in administered arbitrations, and has been defence counsel in several arbitration disputes. From 2016 to 2019, he was an arbitrator enrolled in the Register of the Arbitration Chamber of ANAC - the National Anti-Corruption Authority. From 2012 to 2014, he was an arbitrator enrolled in the Register of the Arbitration Chamber at the Authority for the Supervision of Public Contracts for Works, Services and Supplies, where he acted as chairman of arbitration tribunals.
He serves as a Member and President of Technical Advisory Boards for public works and services procurement.
He is an associate professor of law of civil procedure at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He qualified as a full professor of civil procedural law.
He also teaches the Law of Civil Procedure Class at the Carabinieri Officers School - University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Since November 2024, he has been a member of the Academic Senate of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is also a member of the Faculty Board of the PhD programme in Law and Protection and a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Law Research Centre (CRIAD) at the same university.
He is a member of the Italian Association of Civil Procedure Scholars.
He is a member of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL).
He is a member of the Procedural Studies Commission of the National Council of Notaries for the three-year period 2025-2027.
He is Principal Investigator (PI) of the university’s scientific research project “Algorithm and process: the imminent impact of Artificial Intelligence on Justice”.

He has also previously carried out the following teaching activities:
Associate Professor of Civil Procedural Law in the Department of Law, Economics and Sociology at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, where he was a member of the Teaching Board for the PhD programme in Legal Order and European Order, as well as lecturer and coordinator of the Civil Procedural Law course at the School of Specialisation for Legal Professions.
